Non TASCC Commodities
Hopcrofts Transport operates a large fleet of vehicles and trailers for general haulage and bulk tipping. We also have flat bed, curtain side, low loaders and hook loaders to transport large construction materials, industrial components, plant machinery and containers etc.
Since 2019, we are proud to have annually achieved Silver in the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS). We continue to ensure that the company is being run safely, efficiently and in an environmentally sound manner in compliance with our registration.
Hopcrofts Transport provides all our drivers with Personal Development Plans to ensure that CPC training is maintained and that other training needs are identified and met. Drivers must undertake MPQC Driver Skills Training as well as ongoing FORS learning, including the Professional Safe Urban Driving (SUD) module. Drivers are also provided with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
Our vehicles have been fitted with camera monitoring and sensor systems with driver and audio alerts. All vehicles meet the Direct Vision Standards and we have obtained HGV Transport for London Safety Permits. Our vehicles are fitted with on-board weighing systems and are continually maintained to a high standard. We have been members of the RHA since 1980.
We are registered with and comply with the AIC Trade Assurance Scheme for Combinable Crops (TASCC) regulations so that our loads are traceable to ensure that combinable crops and feed materials are protected from contamination during transportation. We also hold a Green Waste Carrier Licence from the Environment Agency.
